The Resistance Tour featuring Charlie Angus is an evening dedicated to uniting powerful, progressive voices to tackle the urgent challenges facing Canadians today. In light of threats posed by Donald Trump, increasing authoritarianism, the emergence of the so-called "Maple MAGA" ideology in Canada, and the grassroots movement of the boycott against American products and travel, this event will bring together activists, community leaders, labour representatives, and engaged citizens for meaningful discussions, solidarity, and inspiration.
Charlie will be joined onstage by Jeff Gray, President of Unifor Local 222, and Mary Fowler, President of the Durham Region Labour Council.
It will be an evening for non-partisan organizing, resisting, and standing up for democracy, justice, and Canadian values.
