TWO SOLID ROCK’N’ROLL TRIBUTES FOR THE PRICE OF ONE!
Springtime Entertainment is proud to announce that the ‘WE AIN’T PETTY’, Canada’s foremost tribute to the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame musician and his band, Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers and ‘LET’S GO!’, a high-energy act dedicated to celebrating the legendary rock band THE CARS is returning to the Regent Theatre for another outstanding performance.
‘WE AIN’T PETTY’ …
Since 2016 ‘WE AIN’T PETTY’ is the most sought-after live tribute to one of the world’s most recognized chart toppers.
In the wake of his success with the Traveling Wilburys, Petty began work on his first solo album, Full Moon Fever, which was produced by Jeff Lynne and included several of the Heartbreakers. Released in 1989, the album was a massive success, reaching No. 3 on the charts and going multi-platinum. The album's top single, ‘Free Fallin’ reached No. 7 on the singles charts and remains among Tom Petty’s best-known songs.
From ‘American Girl’ to ‘You Don’t Know How It Feels’ and ‘I Won’t Back Down’, ‘WE AIN’T PETTY’ takes you on a hit-by-hit journey through Tom Petty’s most prolific musical history.
‘LET’S GO!’ …
Named after their hit song ‘Let’s Go’, this tribute captures the new wave sound, infectious hooks, and sleek, synth-driven rock that made THE CARS one of the most influential bands of the late '70s and '80s.
With renditions of classics like ‘Just What I Needed’, ‘My Best Friend’s Girl’, ‘You Might Think’, ‘Magic’, ‘Drive’ and ‘Good Times Roll’, ‘LET’S GO!’ a tribute to THE CARS guarantees an electrifying performance that transports audiences back to the golden era of rock.
Perfect for rock fans, ‘80s music lovers, and anyone who wants to relive the magic of THE CARS, ‘LET’S GO!’ is a must-see show that keeps the legacy of this iconic band alive.
